T1 and DS3 Fundamentals

Course Length: 2 Days

Prerequisites:  A fundamental understanding of telecommunications transmission principles will be useful for students taking this course.

Course Objectives:  This is an introductory course for students with little or no experience in T1 transmission. This

course will cover the key elements of digital transmission using T1 or DS3 circuits. This class is about 50% hands-on

using common test equipment; where applicable network elements will also be utilized. This course can be

customized to meet specific system requirements.
